What is Queer Ca(ir)ns Fundraising?
Queer Ca(ir)ns Fundraising has been set up as a fundraising opportunity for the whole of the LGBTI+, Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities, incorporating "Cash for Cans" as a way to fundraise. We are helping the environment and raising funds for social events for rainbow folk in Far North Queensland.
Our Mission
Part of our mission is to increase recycling and reduce the number of drink containers that litter our environment in Far North Queensland, while at the same time being able to provide small funding grants to the LGBTI+ community. These grants help with supporting the trans-support groups and social support days for the broader LGBTI+ community, including coffee catch ups and other outings.
